Likeafrancais does not sell or rent any information or data about its students.

2.1. Information you provide directly
By using Likeafrancais, you may transmit information, some of which may be used to identify you (“Personal Data”). 2.1.1. Data necessary for registration with Likeafrancais. Among this information, only your name, first name, email address, and password are mandatory. Otherwise, Likeafrancais will not be able to provide you with the services offered, and you will not have the possibility to register for lessons.

2.1.8. If applicable, your responses to our surveys and questionnaires and the reviews you have left to evaluate my service, which may be used for research and user behavior analysis;

2.2. Data that is collected automatically
2.2.1. In case you log in to Likeafrancais using the social media features provided, Likeafrancais will have access to certain data (including your first name, last name, photograph, email address, and number of Facebook friends) from your account on that social network, in accordance with the terms of use of the respective social network. Likeafrancais may also collect certain of your Personal Data when you interact with features of these social networks, such as the “Like” feature.

To send you, in accordance with applicable legal provisions and with your consent when required by law, marketing, advertising, and promotional messages, and information regarding the use of our services, booking terms, or to suggest and advise you on goods or services that may interest you. 4.1.11. You can delete your account in writing directly at contact@likeafrancais.com for a member of my team to delete your account. No data from deleted accounts is kept in our back office.
4.1.12. None of your information is transmitted for resale purposes to any third-party company.

In accordance with applicable law and with your consent when required, Likeafrancais may use the data you provide on our site for commercial prospecting purposes (e.g., to send you newsletters, invitations to events, or any other communication that may interest you, and display targeted advertisements on social media platforms or third-party sites).
Regarding promotional emails: you can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in each of our communications or by contacting me as described in Article 13 below.

- Are your data transferred, how, and where?
As a general rule, we keep your Personal Data within the European Union. However, for example, some service providers are located in countries outside the European Union (“Third Countries”), and some of your Personal Data is transferred to Third Countries. This may include transfers to Third Countries for which the European Commission has not made a decision of “adequate protection.” In such cases, Likeafrancais ensures that such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and guarantee a level of protection sufficient to ensure the privacy and fundamental rights of individuals (notably through the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

Likeafrancais may occasionally contain links to the websites of our partners or third-party companies. - Dispute

III – Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 221-18 of the Consumer Code, “the consumer has a period of fourteen days to exercise his right of withdrawal from a contract concluded remotely, following telephone canvassing or off-premises, without having to justify his decision or bear costs other than those provided for in Articles L. 221-23 to L. 221-25.
The period mentioned in the first paragraph runs from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
The right of withdrawal can be exercised by contacting Likeafrancais as follows:
Write an email to contact@likeafrancais.com with the subject line: “Right of withdrawal.”
Following the receipt of the email, Likeafrancais undertakes to refund the student the amount paid within 14 days.
The student who requested to benefit from paid services before the end of the withdrawal period will have to pay an amount proportional to their use of the services.
Consequences of withdrawal:
The refund will be made within 14 days from the date on which Likeafrancais was informed of the student’s decision to withdraw, by the same means of payment used by the student for the initial transaction, unless otherwise instructed by the student.
